Zulka Spicy Sweet Strawberry Pie


For the cookie base
2 cups Vanilla Cookies
½ cup Unsalted Butter

For the filling

2 cups Cleaned Strawberries
½ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
4 tablespoons Spicy Sweet
4 Egg Yolks
3 tablespoons Gelatin powder


1.-Melt the butter and crush the vanilla cookies. Combine them and mix to pour the mixture into a pie dish, then flatten it using a spoon or spatula.
2.-Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
3.-Blend the strawberries with Spicy Sweet and sweetened condensed milk.
4.-Cook the mixture in a pot over medium-low heat for 5 minutes until it thickens. Remove from heat and gradually add this mixture to the egg yolks, beating vigorously to prevent the mixture from curdling.
5.-Hydrate the gelatin powder with ¼ cup of water, let it sit for 5 minutes and microwave it until its clear.
6.-Add the hydrated gelatin to the strawberry/egg mixture and blend it for 2 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the pie dish and bake at 356°F for 20 minutes.
Decorate with sliced strawberries and whipped cream to your liking.
